A Gardener's Friend [Contest Finalists March 2010]
Uploaded: March 17, 2010 06:27:56
Our little robins are often considered to be a gardener's friend .. they certainly seem to enjoy watching to perhaps see if a nice juicy worm will be uncovered ~ this little one was singing his heart out and a joy to listen to :)

Very BIG congrat's on your Finalist recognition last month for this gorgeous bird capture, Susie - it was MOST deserved, my friend!! :o)Finalists...let alone placings...are fairly 'scarce on the ground' these days, so I was VERY happy to see that you scored one!! (I also was happy to receive one myself, too!!) ;o)
Your robin certainly is a very pretty little bird, and you captured him/her just SO nicely!! The colours, textures, lighting and composition here all are excellent!! :o) #8613450
