Crisp with fantastic clarity, Julianne. This is just beautifully composed - the rocks framing the wave coming in, the peek of sky and clouds - it all comes together with a sense of drama and beauty...excellent pp, fantastic image! You go, girl! #8404637Julianne Bradford February 21, 2010
Thanks so much! This is a magnificent location. I'm just so pleased to be able to do it justice with a photograph. Learning processing techniques is so rewarding. Watching the colors come out and the definition was thrilling! #8404760Marty Straub February 22, 2010
What a great job processing this, Julianne. Sure it's great when the scene is conducive for getting it right in camera, but this scene could not be captured with such detail in the shadows AND highlights without your expertise in post processing. Beautiful work! #8407463Julianne Bradford February 22, 2010
Thanks Marty. I have Mark Dodge to thank for helping me with processing skills in Photoshop and Lightroom. This was a difficult shot to correct and process, but with the techniques Mark taught me, I was able to bring out the best in this image. Thanks again Mark :-) #8408239Laura E. Swan February 25, 2010

What refreshingly beautiful scene, Julianne! The boulders of the shoreline and the warmly lit walls of the cove intimately framing the in-coming wave between them, the break of soft blue sky providing the perfect side lighting to illuminate the rising swell and accentuate the eye-catching aquamarine color of the under current . Incredible detail in the rocks along the beach and the jagged cliffsides, you can almost feel the coarseness of their texture! Excellent work, Julianne! PS…Mark, you must share your secrets with the rest of us! :) #8428043Mark Dodge March 26, 2010
