Wonderful and such an unusual shot! I hope you get far with this! It's great to see a very typical photo with a surprise to it;-) #130148Allan L. Whitehead May 21, 2004
Jim, this is a magnificent photograph of an extremely beautiful species, of which there aren't many around. I love everything about this, my friend. Exceedingly well done - Allan #553201Jim Kinnunen May 21, 2004
Thank you Mette and Allan! I found this Great Blue at our Manito park pond and watched him fish for about 45 minutes during which time he caught 3 minows. I had just spent 2 hours at the Turnbull game refuge and just saw a few ducks so this was a great find in the city. It was my birthday yesterday and I consider watching this Heron a great present! #553858Allan L. Whitehead May 21, 2004
Nice story, Jim. Happy belated birthday, you'll have to wait 364 more days for your caard though, eh… (he, he, he) - Allan #553998Mary K. Robison June 04, 2004
