8th night of Hannukah [Contest Finalists December 2009]
Uploaded: December 18, 2009 20:06:08
This was one of a number of shots that I took of my son in front of the Menorah on the last day of Hannukah. Last year, I was inspired to take out the camera when I saw my son standing next to the menorah in the soft, warm light. I got one good shot then, but still wasn't happy with the results. On the last night, I took out my camera, adjusted the settings (high iso, lower exposure), and started shooting. I figured it would be a great example for Holiday and Color. I had a willing model. Tried a bunch of angles and poses; my wife suggested this one. Thanks for all of your comments
