18-55 mm kit zoom, pattern metering, shade light, tripod.
In PSPx2 emphasized tilt, and cropped...slight clarify filter, and unmask sharpen.
Revisiting older files, came across this image of a side of an old building in the older business district of the city. Applied newer skills and really liked the result!

Isn't it fun to revisit old files and find out that now you know how to make a "potentially" good image a great image? Good work, Christine. #8140332David Pratt November 20, 2009
Great image of this city scene. The angle, I like the journalistic approach you used with this. #8148973Robert S. Grauer November 20, 2009
Great shot Christine, great use of space. One of my favorites of yours, well done. #8148987M.Christine Duncan November 21, 2009
Thank you Teresa :-) It's wonderful to hear from ya!Thanks Debbie... I went back and really accentuated the tilt which I wasn't able to to when I first took the shot, and used the clarify filter to really make the brickwork pop a little, the light had been very flat that day. Suddenly just those few changes made a huge difference to me.
Dave, thanks! Once in a while it's nice to break out of the norm and revisit something a little different. I think I might wander the downtown with the cam again, I feel inspired, lol.
Thank you so much Bob. That means a lot! I consider you as a photog mentor you realize. #8151428
