Description

Ok, so this is a stretch from photography, but really was/is a photograph that is hand painted in Photoshop. No use of filters, etc.I just thought I'd show a little of my whimsical side.

Thanks Kay and Mary. This was my first use of Photoshop as a paint pallet, and I had a BALL doing this. I hope others will appreciate it, but even if they don't, it was very satisfying for me to do. I'm anxious to see how others react to it. You two have both been very encouraging and welcoming to this newbie here. #3004289

Really nice cartoon effect. Did you do the painting with a mouse or use a graphics tablet?

A mouse is like painting with a shoe. LOL! It's done with a graphics tablet. :)

Thanks Janet!!! I was excited to be a finalist. I never expected to get a second place!!! This feels awesome!! Especially since this is my first work of this type. I have to thank a dear dear friend and extremely talented artist, Xan Blackburn, for teaching me this technique, and mentoring me on this type of digital artwork. It's given me a whole new fun way to be creative beyond the photography itself. #4003981
