Tower of SALT
Uploaded: July 04, 2012 05:52:38
This is another capture deep inside the Khewra Salt mines. The tower is entirely erected of salt bricks mined right from this mountain. Small light bulbs are then inserted in some of the bricks which when turned on, give different shades of color naturally present in the salt rock.
My eldest daughter sat inside for size comparison. Its the same tower that was seen in the distance in this picture:

Love these series of salt photos, and I like this one, because you can understand it's size by your daughter sitting there. #10220939Joy Rector July 09, 2012

How very interesting, Usman, as I'll bet your visit to the mines was. Lovely warm colors here. #10221104Kathryn Wesserling July 25, 2012
The story is as fascinating as is the image, Usman. #10244301Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
