Description

Captured this beautiful fall scene after hiking to Black Lake in RMNP.

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. ~John Muir

Great shot, Melissa! So beautiful, yet at the same time a bit intimidating. I'm thinking that hiking in this sort of place is for those who are pretty rugged and strong. I really like your composition, and the contrast of colors is magnificent. Very nice capture. #1415001
