Very good looking natural model, love the orange lighting- especially how it shines on her hair, good crop too! #448982Lori Ditlefsen March 27, 2004
Good title and nice shot Graham! #449172Patricia A. Kuniega March 27, 2004
Beautifully done Graham! Filled with heavenly shades of brown! Wonderfully back lit. An excellent portrait! I'll bet she loved it! #449958Graham Jones March 27, 2004
Thank you all for the kind words. This is my first posting to a photography based discussion board so your responses are very encouraging. This young lady was my first attempt at "studio" shots. That said the lighting was pretty primitive and the room very small. Unfortunately it's not a contest winner due to the very short focal length and soft left eye but I was very happy with the 20 odd pics - as was the model. It was her first sitting too!
I took the opportunity to look at your galleries when reading your responses - WOW! Beautiful flowers and angels :-)
And I think someone should continue to shoot landscapes at 60mph too! Glorious.
I've tried to add 2 other in the set, don't know if the post will work.
kind regards, Graham #450241

You main picture is by far the best of the 3! #450296Amy M. Parish March 28, 2004
Very appealing pictures, love the lighting. I use pretty primitive lighting myself, don't knock it! Neverunderestimate interesting and creative lighting, it sets your work apart. #451722Mette Vendelboe Allison April 12, 2004
