Thank you, Carmen. I have to give my husband credit and thanks for growing this on the handrail to our front door. I had never seen one before. #434671Linda Murphy April 15, 2004

What a lovely shot, great clarity. #493599Debra Booth April 21, 2004
Thank you Linda and Judy!I don't know that much about growing these, either. My husband planted them where they get scorching sun for a good bit of the day, and they really thrived. I hope he is as successful this year. #494959

Thank you very much, Carolyn! My husband planted these again this year, and they've just started to sprout. I'm looking forward to more photo ops with them. #1432289Carolyn J. Connolly June 05, 2005
They certainly are beautiful flowers, Debra!! It seems they only come in white, though [which is okay! ;o) ]...I did an internet search for 'moonflower', and saw a white one illustrated. The site also said that the plant displays "huge white blossoms" which open at dusk (which is why it is named 'moonflower', no doubt!). My search also yielded the fact that the blossoms are "deliciously fragrant"!!
Thanks for providing me the impetus to search for information on this interesting plant, Debra!! ;o)
I too hope you get many more photo opportunities with them this year!! :o) #1433226
