Mighty Titan [Contest Finalists January 2009]

The winding trail through Utah's Fisher Towers provided dizzying views of these monoliths. The 900 ft. Titan seemed to be the largest, and from this view looking up, the most dramatic. 2 vertical images were taken side by side and merged to form the wide angle view. Canon 17-40L, f11.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Richard, I used the B&W conversion adjustment in PS3. To gain a little separation from some of the red rock tones and the bush, I adjusted the hue a little prior to conversion, as they both had a lot of yellow in them and blended a little too much for my taste.
