Oh, Aimee, I like this better than the first one!!! The thumbnail really pops and the full view is more awesome :) Cool!!! #1024172Aimee C. Eisaman October 27, 2008
This was the same ride of course, but with a slower shutter speed to blur the lights! I had taken many pictures of this with different settings. I kept the first one because it captured more of the background design on the base of the ride, but this one felt more exciting to me. I'm glad you think it is exciting too! Thanks UV! #6668737Dale Hardin October 27, 2008
Much more "life" in this image, Aimee. Good choice. #6668855Aimee C. Eisaman October 27, 2008
Thanks Dale.....what cat. do you think? EofD or Catch-All? #6668947Debbie E. Payne October 27, 2008
I, too, like this one better. Cleaner. I think they'd do well in either category. I'd probably go for EoD though.Aimee C. Eisaman October 27, 2008
Thanks for the input Debbie! Sometimes I have a few shots of the same thing and just can't decided which one I like best! Glad you like my spidey! It's going to be my submission for the challenge this time so you'll get to see it in large form soon! #6669237Sue C. Cole October 27, 2008
Aimee, I like this one much better, It gives me the feeling I am riding this ride. Cleaner, more focused...A Plus girl.:) #6669848Aimee C. Eisaman October 27, 2008
Okay...so a little slower shutter speed for rides is a good thing....will keep that in mind! Thanks Sue! #6670027Laura E. Swan October 27, 2008
Wonderful image. It almost looks like a roulette wheel in a high rolling casino! Ha! Lots of life here! -Laura #6670178Vicki L. Filippin October 28, 2008
Great shot, Aimee! These images are always fun to take.Aimee C. Eisaman October 28, 2008
LOL Laura I wouldn't know what one of those looks like other than in movies! U one of the high rollers? I'll have to hook up with you if I ever make it to Vegas! I'll be the little old lady at the slots machines! LOL! Thanks!Vicki I don't recall using any effects on this one! Just a bit of contrast and color variations to boost the color! Thanks for taking a look! #6671924

Awesome image Aimee! #6871999Aimee C. Eisaman December 09, 2008
Thank You Corinne! :~) #6872034Irene Colling December 09, 2008
So where were you standing to take the photo? Not in the ride itself I suppose. smile.I like the action implied by the blurred lights. Well done Aimee.
Laura is right, it does look like a roulette wheel. I saw many of those last week while I was at the rodeo; and I walked right past them. Las Vegas didn't get a dime out of me. #6872164

Thanks so much Colleen! I was pregnant so I couldn't ride any of the rides. I went with friends that had kids and my husband took ours on the rides. I was on stroller duty so this is what I did while they were waiting in line! It was fun! :~) #7097491Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
