A Patriot Guard
Uploaded: September 17, 2009 03:54:57 | Entered: December 24, 2014 11:46:31
This young lady is a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, a national organization of motorcycle riders that show their sincere respect for our military's fallen heros, their familes, and their communities. They also shield family members and friends from protestor groups.
The following quote comes from their web site: "We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn't matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect."
This photo was from our local community's 9/11 memorial ceremony that honored the Nebraska and Iowa family members of those killed in the 9/11 terrorist attack and Gulf War. BP Member Mike Frazier and I have been the official photographers for the last three years, strictly voluntary.
