DESERTED IN PLACERVILLE [Contest Finalists May 2008]
Uploaded: May 19, 2008 10:08:35
On my first visit to this quaint town I was struck by the look of this street during the middle of the day. Deserted, while the adjacent streets were bustling. I decided it would look more normal if a night scene so took some artistic liberties.

I LOVE this creation Dale! Fantastic angle and the light looks like a full moon....great job! I feel like I've stepped back in time! #924538Dale Hardin May 19, 2008
Thanks Aimee. I wish I knew how to post the original with this so you could see the comparison. I wonder if I place it somewhere online and include the link in the text, it would display. Will have to look into it. By the way, my wife didn't like it. Said it looked haunted. #5945137Aimee C. Eisaman May 19, 2008

Thanks for commenting Kimi. It gave me a chance to go to your gallery once again. I've been so busy the last few months and have neglected all my favorites. And it has been my loss because so much wonderful work is there just waiting to be enjoyed. #6229758Dale Hardin July 25, 2008
