Love the water action flowing through the mountains! Beautiful as always Steve~ :) You can do no wrong and to see all these places in person must be amazing! Have a great day~ #5268874Norman P. Banks December 30, 2007
Great perspective Steve!Even on a 750x size image, I can feel the pull down into the gorge. Also like the stop flow fx of the water.

I haven't started drinking anything yet. Maybe later it won't be the image. I am drinking some great Canadian beer tonight. My wife brought me home some Labatts when she was up in Toronto a few weeks ago.... Happy New Year to you and your family as well.Steve M. Harrington December 31, 2007

OK, since no one has mentioned this yet, what about that log down there bridging the gap? That's dramatic.... it transform an otherwise well executed "pretty" picture into a dramatic image that challenges the imagination. At least it does for me. I'm willing to bet if there was an animal crossing over that log, like a bear for instance, we'd also be looking at a gold medallion under this entry.Excellent use of the Buzz. I like this one, all it lacks is the sound effect of rushing water echoing through a narrow gorge. This one would make a nice mural for hanging. #5308952

I hadn't fully appreciated it until your comment, but you are quite right. That is one important log in this image! It not only draws the eye, it ties the image together. Thank you for such a thoughtful comment, A J.Jeana Clark January 25, 2008

Steve, forgive me, I have no idea how I missed this "Finalist" award to you until I just went to your gallery to see what new things you were up to.....I have been so preoccupied with a lot of mundane stuff lately that I seem to be missing all the really important things going on here. Please accept my belated congratulations on a job well done and a well deserved recognition.
