Loft, Leanne, and Joy - thanks! Very depressing to have so many roads and bridges torn up around my neighborhodd though! If you know the company who makes these barrels, buy stock! #208526Charlene Bayerle September 22, 2003

I love your fresh perspective on these road barrels. Did you swoop out of traffic, quickly scoop down and then take a quick shoot and race back to your car to see that the traffic hadn't moved an inch?!?:)) Lovely shot. #208801Terry R. Hatfield September 22, 2003
Great Shot Sharon Did You Hang Out The Window To Get This Or What! #208821Sharon E. Lowe September 22, 2003
Murtaza and Terry - First, thanks! I had been eyeing these barrels for a few days - I saw them lined along an on-ramp from one state highway to another as I walked down one of them on my daily walk (the bridge/overpass is under repair and the road at the top of the overpass has been under repair for so long, we can't remember when it wasn't torn up!!). So, I just got up early Sunday before too much traffic would be out and walked up to the overpass and crouched down to take the shot - I was on the protected side of them and had time to take several shots with 2 different zoom lenses - this one was my favorite with the depth of field I preferred. Not narly as dramatic as you thought!!Today when I walked by, the traffic pattern was totally different and the barrels weren't nearly as accessible so it was a good thing I did it Sunday morning. #208855

Brilliant. I remember hearing in some seminar recently that the worst thing about the world today is that people are lacking in vision. - Good to see you have a good amount of it stored away. Lovely to see this in the finalists!:)))))The seminar was actually a Christian Sunday Sermon by Dr. Creflo Dollar, it wasn't about Art or anything, but your creative effort here is certainly something that can help some of us feel: People certainly got vision here!:) #236509Cathy Shotz October 17, 2003
