Shot at Fort Funston in SF, CA at dawn. I was expecting sunrise but who am I kidding. This is San Francisco.

Thank you for your comment, Cheryl! Good to hear from you! This was shot just yesterday. Oil spill was still there and the beach was closed :( #5086869Christine Czernin November 17, 2007

WOW what a fantastic capture! I love the mist and fog and beach! Very beautiful scene. I went to SF once. Was kinda scary there. Beautiful, but scary and I'm from Vegas..hahaha #5087859Donna R. Wageman November 17, 2007
Comp outstanding, mist and water blend in beatiful pastels and yet separate intities. You got it!Alex T. Mizuno November 17, 2007
Christine, Kathleen, Tammy and Donna, thank you all for viewing my new work and kindly commenting on it! Although I didn't get any sun at all, I got beautiful mist that probably adds more feeling.Tammy, I'm sorry you had a scary experience in SF. But there are nice people like me also :)

Colette and Margaret, thank you both for your kind comments!! #5091172Tammy Espino November 18, 2007
You are very nice. :) Just the tall buildings downtown all closed in and all those cable wires well made me nervous. My boyfriend tried to make me go across the Golden Gate and I am terrified of bridges and heights and a tree kept following me and telling me he was gonna get me when I came back from walking to pier 49..LOL All kinda funny really. Then went to China town. That is some experience! I would come back, to say the least it is very interesting there! I loved the sea lions :) #5092486Alex T. Mizuno November 19, 2007
A tree followed you? Is that like an apple tree in "The Wizard of Oz"? I sort of understand your feeling. When I was new in San Francisco, I felt like I was not in Kansas anymore :) But I love this city now. #5099656Tammy Espino November 21, 2007
Well I think it was a homeless person dressed up with tree leaves all around him so he looked like a tree sitting on the sidewalk..lol My mother actually heard something about him on the news after I told her about him when I got home from my vacation! #5108629Alex T. Mizuno November 21, 2007
That sounds wild! The homeless man with tree leaves scared you and he was on TV news also? That sounds like San Francisco all right :) #5108791Lisa B. North November 22, 2007
