Fishing the Lamar

Uploaded: May 15, 2012 03:41:33

Description

Left Center on the river thats a Fly Fisherman.
This is the South End of the Lamar Valley in North East Yellowstone. I think its the best area to find wildlife in all of the Park. Everything from Wolves & Bison to Raptors & Cranes. The Landscape is also pretty impressive from the river valley to high alpine peaks, which do have Mountain Goats that can be seen at the extreme North end of the valley before exiting the park.

Exif: F Number: 29, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/80 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 800, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 35.00 mm, Model: NIKON D90

I don't think we saw mountain goats in Yellowstone either time we were there but you're right about the wildlife in the Lamar Valley Jack. This is where we saw the mom and baby grizzlies which was one of the highlights of our trip. An excellent shot! #10138496
