white against white

Description

This is a "watching house" (is it correct?) over one of the highest places next to Ponte de Lima, called "Facha". From there we can watch the first signals of fire, what is very important in our hot summers. I didn´t manage to get up there, it will make an interesting walk to do. Doesn´t it look like white fighting against white forces of nature? Some djustements on PS and polariser filter.

Gary H. Minish level-classic August 29, 2003

Very nicely shot, Susana! The watch tower provides the scale with which to sense the height of the hill and as small as it is, it still manages to be the focus of attention. The exposure is also very good and maintains the color and texture of the cloud. A pretty and dynamic scene! #182039

Hello from Ponte de Lima, I had no internet since yesterday morning what is toooooo much for an addicted person like me .... !!!?? Addicted because of betterphoto, maybe you know what is that !!??
So it was wonderful to have all your comments at once.

Thank you Murry, you translated in words the reason why I love this photo, the scale of big and small. Your presence is very much appreciated.

Thank you Carol, best regards from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.

Thank you Suzie, i´m sure that the signs you use mean wonderful things, I will have to translatte the meaning of ~))), as I had to ask before what meant LOL and still don´t know what means DOF. It´s so funny as I also learn english being here with you all. you are wonderful with your support and comments, thanks so much.

Thank you Gary, your comments are highly appreciated, you the magician of Alaska landscapes!!! And thank you so much for all the time, as I know how TIME is something we don´t always have after job obligations.
