Good one, Ronald!!Ronald Balthazor August 21, 2003
Thank you, everyone. I'm overwhelmed by your response. There are basically two main routes to the monument. If you take the road less traveled you can catch this view of George Washington. Years ago you took your life in your hands to stop and take a picture. Today they've even created a small parking lot so people like me can safely pull off the highway to take a "peak." #174246Evy Johansen August 21, 2003

WOW!!!!!! Great shot Ron. I wish the day I was there would have been nice to get some good pictures. I was there June of 2004 and it was a terrible foggy day. They said it was over a hundred a few days before that. I don't think I'll ever get back there. It's a long way from Florida. #1397304Ronald Balthazor May 26, 2005
Thank you for the kind words, Kay. Mt. Rushmore is on the other side of the State from me but I do manage to get there a couple of times a year. #1398897Anderson D. Co August 17, 2005
