Hanover Junction Train Station, PA - Although not officially verified, President Lincoln is said to be standing to the right of the train next to the building. He stopped here on his way to give the Gettysburg Address.

I agree with Murry! Well done! Wonderful idea and blended nicely. #159648Carl D. Miller August 07, 2003
Thanks for all the positive comments everybody, it's very much appreciated! After I uploaded this one I realized that I had an element from a wider shot that would make this even better. I ended up stitching the bike path with the two bikers and extending the right side of this photo and slightly cropping the left. The woman even appears to be looking at the crowd. I'll probably resubmit this version since I think it's a better image now. Thanks again! #159800Jill Battaglia September 09, 2003

Hi Carl.Carolyn J. Connolly August 17, 2004
Carl, I found this image of yours featured on the Contest page, and felt I had to comment! I agree with what Jessica said above actually...and congrat's on your Second placing with it. I think I like the amended one that you posted a bit better though... I, like you, think it's an improvement over the original one you posted! Anyway, well done... #716316Carl D.
