Hey Penny, didn't notice the inquiry about how I did this headshot. I used a White Lightning X1600 with a 22" beauty dish and difusser about 7feet away from the subject. The model was being shaded by the house so the light was shaded in the late morning. I used a light meter to set the exposure properly but the camera and strobe were set for F/11 100 on Manual Exp. Used a 70-200 2.8IS and handheld the camera....then I just kinda pray the image is going to turn out and they always do because I follow what everyone on this site says to do.JK #4397113Penelope Pereira June 15, 2007
Hi OliverThanks for the detailed description. I have never heard of a beauty dish, what does it do?
