Moss Rose Swirl [Photography Contest Photoshop & Digital Darkroom]
Uploaded: December 02, 2006 12:31:42
I started with a photo of moss rose flowers. (3 different colors plus the green stems).
Using GIMP 2, I did two things with the photo:
1. Filter > Distorts > Whirl and Pinch (I did this several times)
2. Next... Filter > Map > Make Seamless

Congratulations on such a creative Finalist, Ken... #3868599Ken Slade January 25, 2007
THANKS for the comments. To be honest, I was disappointed in November and December. I entered about 22 photos in December. This one was my least favorite. I was really hoping one of my gull shots would be a finalist. But I guess the competition in animals is just too stiff with so many outstanding entries. #3868690John V. Roscich January 25, 2007
