Washer Woman Blues [Canyon Photography]
Uploaded: September 02, 2001 16:05:53
Photo was taken before sunrise through Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park. The formation in the approximate center is called "Washer Woman". The camera used was the Sony DSC F-505V digital camera.

I misspoke, in that the sun has risen and is behind the arch when this particular image was taken. #633Glenn Theal September 03, 2001
This is a lovely photo, Charlie, and I am somewhat surprised that it did not finish higher in the contest.Anyway, you should be very pleased with this photo. I love the different shades of blue within the photo.
Cheers,

Glenn, thanks for your kind words. This is one of my favorite places to spend the early morning sunrise.Karolyn J. Seeley August 02, 2008
