Drowning in the Blue [Contest Winner Pool September 2006 People and Portraits]

A shot taken in very difficult lighting conditions at home, 1/2 sec exposure (400 ISO) of the shadowy part of her face in order to make the brighter background become over-exposed, to get that angel-flair. The model Madeleine Andersson, a friend of mine, did very well in holding still during the very long exposures. Paint Shop Pro 7 was used to make adjustments to: perspective, color balance and temperature, saturation and to add some blur.
