Pretty scary - but a terrific capture, Rona! #10290750Laura E. Swan August 26, 2012
So much for a relaxing canoe ride. Man!I bet there was drinking involved?! Just a hunch!!! :(
I love the glassy soft look to the water and rich colors here. You must have had your shutter opened to 1/60 sec or something to get those types of results on the speeding heads!
Great job, Rona, and very glad no one was hurt.

I HATE power boats when they do this! It is dangerous for the canoers. Let's just say that it happens enough that I know to face my kayak or canoe into the waves so as not to be flipped. Fortunately, most boaters are more courteous. Other then THAT, the scene is absolutely gorgeous!! #10291547Rony Sagy August 27, 2012
What a terrific capture. So sharp except for the fast moving power boat. Excellent composition and color, Rona. #10292432Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
