The lens used is a Sigma 150mm 1:2.8 APO Macro DG HSM - an impressive lens with an impressive name :-)
The picture was taken at a distance very close to the closest fucusing distance the lens can manage (1.2 ft.) and a tripos was used of course. 1/160 sec, f/8.0 and ISO 200... #3045436
