The 27th Annual Carpenter Cup Classic
-----
Named for former Phillies' owners Bob and Ruly Carpenter, the Carpenter Cup Classi is recognized nationally as one of the finest baseball tournaments for high school students. Many Carpenter Cup participants have gone on to big league careers including Mike Piazza, Ben Davis, Mike Koplove, David Miller and Bobby Higginson.
----------
The Semi-finals and the Championship games were played in the Philies' Major League stadium, "Citizens Bank Park."
----
This young man could not believe he was actually about to play in this amazing stadium. His team made it to the Championship game.
---------
It was also my first shoot in a Major League venue.

Your hitting a 1000 with this beautiful and spectacular picture of this ball player as he looks at the scoreboard and lets the moment overtake him. Love the framing, vivid, rich colors, amazing details on that scoreboard. Love that you gave some history as to the importance of it to. Award winning work my friend. #10198781Kathy Reeves June 25, 2012
