Cat Pull-behind Grader, Logging-Oregon
Uploaded: August 22, 2009
This pull-behind grader is used to finish off new logging road construction, repair rutted old roads and cut road ditches. It's a 1920s era Russel/Caterpillar pull-behind. Been in the family for years for road repair and logging.

Two excellent images of this heavy machinery, Denny! My father use to build road around Inverell with earlier models of this equipment! #7878252Ron McEwan August 23, 2009 0
This has been remade for sure, I remember seeing one of these when I was a kid on my grandpa's farm, it had metal wheels, he maintained some of the old gravel and dirt roads during the war and up into the early 50's #7878895

You put together some great shots Denny, you wouldn't happen to have some shots of an old HD-16 or a TD-20, that's what I use to operate. Beautiful work.Julie Burnett August 23, 2009 0
