This is really pretty. I love the edit and the colors are wonderful. My hubby has been to the San Antonio Riverwalk when in San Antonio on business. He has talked about how neat it is. After seeing this photo I want to go there myself and experience it.
Great job! #1169048

Thanks, Sarah. The photo was one of those "need to do something with it or just delete it" choices. It is a pretty setting but the lighting that afternoon was very harsh and contrasty, and thus the original image was lacking in color. Additionally, there were too many visibly identifiable people. The bridge surface was highly backlit and dark with the most light being in the highlights in the water behind the barge. So, I figured, let's see what I can do with it with a couple of filter tools and some cropping. I liked the result.
Guess you need to get your hubby to take you there for a holiday. ;-) #7858609

I lived in SA back in the mid-60's. The River Walk was one of my favorite places to spend time (The Quadrangle was another.)

Got a chuckle out of your 'tossing' explanation - my current decision-making process is "Toss or Topaz?"!!! #7871248

Probably no EP on that one Art. I submitted it to a couple of contests several months ago and nothing happened. I suspect that the judges were losing interest in Buzz treated photos. That's ok. As long as my peers like it, I'm happy. :-) #8116934

Guess you have to settle for a fellow photographer likes your photo award. #8116939
