Description

The oldest standing building in Idaho, 24 miles east of Coeur d’Alene. Built between 1848 and1853, a joint effort between Jesuit missionaries and native American Catholics. It is now a National Historic Landmark. Photo taken mid morning on a cloudy day, just a few minutes before rain settled in. Handheld, 1/180 sec, f-4.7. Digital Darkroom in Photoshop Elements: Crop, levels, resize, unsharp mask.

Larry, this is drop dead gorgeous! I LOVE the fall colors against the blue sky. this has a very heavenly feel, like the clouds were hand painted by God...I guess they were. lol I love the way you shot this, it looks like the church is right in the sky. I agree with Janet, I would send them a proof size and see if they would like to purchase a nice large print on canvas. You could give them a deal on it and have your name and info right on the frame. I bet you would get more orders for it. #870563
