Marvelous 'caapture' and photographic imagry, Carole, I love everything about this, but then, I'm a real sucker when it comes to tradional 'sailing-craft', eh… Very well done, my dear friend - your good friend, Allan #167208

I noticed that you liked boats a lot. Here's another picture for you to enjoy :-)It's the Hokulea, the first traditional boat they rebuilt in the 80's I think. It sailed through the Pacific, and they now use the boats to teach the young Hawaiians how to sail according to tradition. I think they just came back from Tahiti, I was told. #765295

Carole, my 1 year old son's middle name is the same as one of these two canoes. The coincidence that we named our son Hokualaka'i and that the canoe and my son were "born" in 2003 is amazing. I am now collecting all the information that I can about this canoe. Your photo is the best photo that I have found on this canoe. How can I get a copy of this photo? digital or print? I am actually only interested in the one canoe, not both to put in my son's room. Mahalo, Alika #1110334
