Wonderful PS work, Mary, although I like the original better!! Awesome work on both!! #2546791

Ray Clarke March 18, 2006

I like the original better too Mary, I like the shape on the plate, though I do like the detail in the main version! (ac) #2546809

Thank you Ronald and Audrey for your kind and honest comments--I prefer honest comments! I almost submitted the other, but it seemed to lack something. Maybe I should submit it. Sigh. (I liked it, which is why I took it in the first place).

Sometimes I second guess myself.

THANK YOU!! Mary :-) #2546820

Goshka G. March 18, 2006

I like the second one too, Mary, but what distracts me there is the business of the bg under the plate - maybe if it was just one color (brownish or beige) it would work better as a whole. Just thinking aloud... #2546930

Kate Jackson March 18, 2006

I agree with Goshka Mary. I love the patterns in the second one and the plate!! #2547047

Mary, great images, my choice is the second full frame, #2547400

Sylvia Rossler March 18, 2006

I prefer your choice Mary ! It has lot more fantasy than the original shot and I love how it fills the frame with colors ! #2547620

Thank you Bridgette, Stan, and Sylvia for you kind and helpful comments!! I'm sort of gla not everyone thought I'd gone too far with my attempts. LOL! It's so hard to make choices and decision! AIee! Thank you for your feedback--I'm getting the impression I should enter the second one. LOL! (Which is actually first one). THANKS, Mary :-) #2547660

By the way, they were delicious! Yum yum! #2547662

Sharon C. Hinze March 18, 2006

Wow OK....the first one caught my eye and I like it but I wish there'd been a way to keep the details in the artichokes in the process without the patterned linoleum and without the plate...the second (the original) I'd have glanced at and moved on, however. So I'd like some of both please! :) Mary, I couldn't resist...very nice work. S #2547840
