What a gorgeous scene. Congratulations on your Finalist and on the POTD.

Before scrolling down to reveal the mountain in the background (and if ignoring the derrick near the horizon), I discovered something unique. The scene could be as you shot it (a desert with a dark foreground and rocks strewn about) or reversed it could have been dark water with a brilliant sunrise or sunset above the water and birds flying across the sky.) I know it's a stretch to see it that way, but it really fascinated me with the possibilities. #10620814
