Rainbow in Te Anau, NZ

Description

ISO 100, f18, 85mm, 1/125. One morning we had this amazing rainbow over the lake in te Anau New Zealand. The sky was more grey at that time. I chanched the color temperature, so that the grey went dark blue. That way the colours in the rainbow look more vibrant ant contrasty to the sky.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful capture and very well done.

We crossed Lake TeAnau in Fiordland National Park enroute to kayaking in Doubtful Sound. But, on our trip we had gale force winds and overcast skies. Hence, could see neither the peaks or the wonderful lighting, which you witnessed at either place.

We went across Lake Te Anau in Fiordland enroute to Doubtful Sound where we kayaked and camped in the rainforest. Both an awesome experience. However, Lake Te Anau was not as beautiful the way we went across as you captured, so well, here. It was windy with rough waves.
