Instructions for Spot Meter

I recently got a real good deal on a used Pentax (non-digital) spot meter. It works fine, and I've mostly figured out how to use it, even though it didn't include a manual. The thing that puzzles me, though, is the white button halfway down the side of the pistol grip. What does it do? It doesn't seem to do anything so far as I can tell. Anyone got a manual?

Could this white button you are referring to actually be a sensing element for when you put the meter into a reflective light-reading mode? I will look into it and see... You may have some luck buying a manual from Glazer's Camera Supply.
