New Girl!!!! I am in the process of buying a new SLR and I would love to start a small business, offering announcements, cards and invitations using personalised images with use of my computer. I am considering the possibilities of having my film developed professionally onto disk, or am I better off with a digital camera? I would really love to stick with an SLR for my own personal photos, using traditional processing methods. I am also looking for info on software and printers. I would love some advice, many thanks!!!!!!!!

Hi New Girl... First of all, I would like to say, I know what you are going through now. I wanted to do a business a few years ago putting images on a computer from my computer. I opted to buy a Camcorder and a video card so that I could connect it to my computer. I am no longer into that idea so I ended up buying an SLR and now I have to decide which one I wanna take with me for certain events. Nevertheless, the digital camera is going to give you the sharpest images for your needs unless you pay a high fee for professional digital scans. Even then you must realize a scan is a second hand image. Not like the original causing some color and sharpness to be lost that are in the original on film. Your choice should also depend on your budget. I hope this helped a little.
