Flashes

Can you suggest a book or website where I can learn more about the subtleties of flash photography - like fill flash, exposure compensation, etc. Also a book/website on natural lighting as well.

Magic Lantern publishes guides for getting the most out of specific makers flash systems, for example, the Magic Lantern Guide to Nikon SB-26 or the Magic Lantern Guide to Canon 540EZ, etc.

For a more general primer try "Electronic Flash" by Jack Neubart. This is a Kodak Workshop Series book (now published by Tiffen).

On the web, you can also look at Kodak's Guide to Better Pictures section on flash photography.

Another web site you might try is Scott Smith's Lighting Magic, a site on lighting for professional photographers.
