Flash PC Cord Problem I have purchased a PC cord adapter for my hot shoe and a three way splitter to connect up to two or three studio flashes. I have trouble with the slave sensors (other photographers, sunlight, etc.), so I need to hard wire. Unfortunately, I find myself having to squeeze everything together in order to get the flashes to fire. I have the same problem when I fire even a single flash (without adapter or splitter) from my light meter. Is there a trick to getting PC cords to make a good connection?

"Squeezing" is probably your best option. I used to crimp the female end (gingerly), before connecting it, then twist it back and forth a few times to insure a good connection. I have never had much success with those splitters either. BTW,..Have you tried radio slaves?
