How to use a light meter,idiots guide


Hi
I am an amateur photographer and doing the Amateur Photographer diploma course part of which is using a light meter, I have a Weston Master V meter and not really sure how to use it, is there an idiots guide of how to use a light meter please.

  You set the same film speed you're going to use on the light meter, and pick either a shutter speed or aperture that you're going to use. Hold the white dome looking so it's facing your light source, push the button to get a reading and it tells you which shutter speed or aperture is correct for to use.
