  Carolyn,

Maybe it's too early in the morning for me.

I don't understand; "My CD's that allow the computer to recognize my cameras"?

Are you talking about the EXIF data?

I use VISTA now also and have no problems.
What I have found is that some "programs" that I had for "XP" are NOT compatible with Vista.

Pete

Ok Pete, that problem has resolved itself, but I can't connect my scanner and printer because they don't recognize Vista. What do I do???

Go to the manufacturer's website for each device and download the latest drivers. Same for the cameras. The manufacturer's website will have the latest versions of the software that came with your camera.

  Hi
Good advice Chris. Or try www.driverguide.com for drivers to suit your scanner and printer or failing that try winxpfix.com. Or...ummm...I just bought a Macintosh and never have any problems with that. Good luck!

That didn't work, so I finally got ahold of a live person at HP and they are mailing me a new set up disc.
THE NEXT PROBLEM...I don't know how to get my plug ins from the download folder or desktop into the Photoshop filters plug in area. Can anybody give me VERY SPECIFIC instructions? You can email me at fletch@kcnet.org
I'd sure appreciate the help. I'm so stupid when it comes to anything technical.

  Carolyn:

Check the brand name and product number of your printer/scanner. Go to the manufacturers website and download the Vista drivers. All manufacturer have vista drivers available on their website.

I have been using vista for 5 months now and never a has a single problem.

Hope this helps. Karim.

I already have the new driver and it still won't work. HP is mailing me a new disc for the printer.
