Photography Question

What happened to RAW?

I have a Canon XTi and have been shooting in RAW only. This past weekend I noticied that it was shooting in JPEG and my RAW setting in my camera is gone. Does anyone know how to reset it back to RAW? When in the menu screen it no longer has a RAW option to pick...all help will be appreciated! =)

I think the green box, program, or one of the auto modes prevents using raw. Maybe you're in one of those.

You were exactly right! Thank you. I never use the green box, but it was set on that.

The other auto modes will take away RAW as well. I believe you can only get RAW when using Av, Tv, P or M modes.
