Printer troubleshooting
I have an Epson 2200. I haven't printed anything in about a month, and I did a test print on an image of a box of deep red raspberries. The first prints I did a while back were great. Today the raspberries are dull red--not magenta. The blue carton is ok, but it all looks a bit dull. Should I replace the ink cartridges?

Well, one thing is did you change any picture or printer settings, maybe in regard to color spaces? Are you using a different program? Was the picture edited? If not, try to clean your cartridges if your printer gives that option and replace them if needed. It is possible that the ink dried up a little.
