problem with canon 580EX I own the canon 580EX flash and I'm having problems with it. When I'm I'm taking photos sometimes it won't flash. Does anyone know what might be causing that and has anyone else experienced that same problem.All the settings seem to be fine. Thanks,

Bad connection between camera and speedlight? Make sure the camera hotshoe and flash foot are clean, and that the speedlight is fully seated and locked down before turning it on.

Thanks guys for your response. I alway check the connections and they seem to be fine. As far as batteries go I always use a brand new set for every event. I'm wondering if it could be that the camera is is too fast for the speed light I use the canon 20d and 30d. But then thats what that flash is made for right?
