Can you check with whoever you got the lens from as to what mount it has?

Never heard of Kimunor, but it most likely is a mirror (aka "reflex") lens with the "universal" T-mount. If so, you need the T-mount for Minolta Maxxum (example here.)

To use this lens with your Maxxum 3, you'll have to cancel the shutter release lock. If the camera thinks there is no lens, or a non-compatible lens mounted, it will not allow the shutter to release. See p. 54 of the user manual for disabling the lock:

1. Turn the camera off.
2. Press and hold subject-program button and drive-mode button.
3. With both buttons held down, turn the camera on.
• Repeat the procedure to activate the shutter-release lock.
