Working on a Laptop, the pictures look different

Hellos,

I have been submitting work from my laptop recently, my PC is down. I noticed very early on that that even the slightest anglular change of the laptop screen and the images infront of me would change dramatically in color contrast. I managed to maintain it at a particular angle, just a little off perfectly at 90 degree to the keyboard on the laptop. about 95 degree. I have been dissapointed on seeing the pictures recently on a larger monitor screen from another PC. The color contrast is no where near what I was seeing on my laptop, so most of my recently submitted work is really off in terms of what the picture colors were meant to be. What Am I doing wrong and shouldn't laptops be used. I can't at absolutely any angle make the colors look like they do on a 17" Flat monitor attached to a PC, as they do currently on my 14" laptop screen.

  Hi,
My color setting for my Monitor (not laptop) is as follows:
preset: 9300K
Temp: 7900k
Red: 84
Green 69
Blue: 54

Brightness: 82
Contrast: 83

Can someone from Betterphoto please indicate the 'official' settings,so that members may also set their monitor screens to those settings. It would help us see in the exact color and brightness and contrast tones that the competition is judged under.

Many thanks,
Murtaza

I sincerely believe such a distribution of information would be very helpful to all.
