vivitar 840af

I am just interesting in a Vivitar Series 1 Canon Dedicated Auto Focus EF Camera Flash Assembly Model 840AFC and I have a 3000 canon eos rebel. Do you think that is this item good for may camara and is a good spare for me? thanks

Yes. It's not as good as the Canon 540EZ you asked about earlier, but the Vivitar 840 AFC will work fine with your EOS 3000/88. I could be wrong, but I think the autofocus assist light of the Vivitar flash will cover only the center focus sensor.

YES, I COULD SEE FOR THE DESCRIPTION THAT THE CANON 540EZ IS BETTER BUT MORE EXPENSIVE FOR ME KNOW. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ONE OF THOSE FLASH SOME DAY (CANON 540EZ), AND I WIIL TO WORK IN IT... THANKS FOR YOUR HELP JON AND HAVE GREAT WEEKEND.
