Do I need to be a cosmotoligists to do glamour I like to do glamour shots (not nude). I like to have people see themselves in a different light (so to speak). I have practiced shots on my niece and everyone loves the photos but do I need to have cosmotology experience to do a strangers portrait? Or some type of form for them to fill out? Please help I'm ready to get started.

You don't need to be a cosmotologist, but you do need to know how to convey the look you want. I give this advice to all the models I work with. 1. Get at least 8 hours of sleep for two nights before a shoot. 2. Wash and exfoliate your skin before the shoot. 3. Add an even foundation that compliments the skin. 4. powder. 5. blend and shade after powdering with a soft paint brush about 1/2" 6. for small eyes go light on the eye mascara. Make sure that the lashes don't clump together. 7. No matter what you use for lipstick, make sure it is the paint on kind with a brush. It doesn't clump and it applies even. Usually it has a glossy nude quality to it also. Avoid drawing lip lines. 8. Make sure that they use good products in their hair the night before so that it has some life to it. 9. Eye shadow should be almost unoticable. So avoide sparkles, dark colors, etc. That isn't a rule, but you can always add color in photoshop, you can't easily remove it.
