Computer Problem related to Uploading Images... I am no longer able to upload images to my BetterPhoto Gallery. I get this SAME error using I.E. 6, Opera 7 and FireFox. The error has something to do with the (corrupt, damaged or non-functioning) gdiplus.dll file. All I know is that NOW, it is not working. One or two days ago, it was. Each time I try to upload an image, whatever browser I'm using, it simply crashes and gives the Error Report (please see the attached screen shot) I'm using XP Pro with SP1. I've downloaded from www.dll-files.com, the gdiplus.dll file and put it in the c:\windows\system folder as they instruct. I checked prior to copying the file to that location - it did not exist in the system folder BEFORE I put it there. But obviously, the browsers are all looking for that .dll file in order to upload the images (or at least they are looking for a valid gdiplus.dll file to use to do the job). I've done all that and YET, I am still unable to upload my image files to my gallery. I thought it was a browser problem at first, so I reinstalled a couple of my browser programs, and that didn't work. Not sure what to do at this point - ANY SUGGESTIONS will be appreciated. I've included a screen shot to show the exact error. Thank you.

Could be a corrupted or compromised .jpg file. Go to Microsoft's site and read over the security bulletin about gdiplus.dll. Have you tried .tif or .bmp? Is your virus software up to date? Are you automatically applying updates to XP?
