Montreal Camera Club
Hi! I was wondering if anyone has heard of the Montreal Camera Club or is a member? I'm thinking of joining but would appreciate knowing a little more.Does anyone belong to their own city's camera club? Do you find it helpful? I'm basically looking to learn more without spending a fortune, and if I meet like-minded photographers and go on occasional shooting outings with them that can only be an added bonus - right? I appreciate your help!

My answer might be too late for you.
I moved to Montreal few months ago.
My choice was Lake Shore Camera Club http://lakeshorecameraclub.org/)
over Montreal Camera Club (http://montrealcameraclub.com/) because they have more meetings and outings then MCC and are closer to my home. However they have less competition then MCC.
You could compare their web pages to see .
Generally I think Camera Clubs are very good to learn, share and have a nice time.Maria

I did join in September and have been quite a few times... I'm not near the Lakeshore so that really isn't an option for me...
